As many of you now know we were given a major answer to prayer. Our ministry is evangelistic by design and our actual time in one location [including home] is somewhat limited. Traveling to congregations across the United States and other nations encompasses most of our schedule. This limited amount of office time had been an issue in our ability to consistently connect with all of our ministry partners. Last fall the answer to our prayer of better service and communication with our partners came in the way of a unified collaboration wi th old friends. We have now made an official union with Globe Missionary Evangelism.
Globe, or G. M.E., has an incredible 30 year + history of being one of the finest missionary sending agencies in the nation. G.M.E. was founded in the early 1970s by Ken Sumrall and Apostolic Father to this generation. After its founding, Globe grew under the loving direction of Bob Bishop for over three decades. Globe became the administrative covering to over 250 missionaries positioned around the world. G.M.E. is now directed by Doug Gehman a seasoned veteran of the mission field. Doug has built upon the strong foundation established by Ken Sumrall and Bob Bishop. He is a true visionary who sees every corner of society as a mission opportunity and an open door for evangelism. The joining of Dick Reuben Evangelistic Association with G.M.E. has been a perfect fit. As of this year Globe is now handling all of our immediate reception needs, managing of partner contributions, financial administration, newsletter printing and mailing, media production, and distribution. Globe is a longstanding member of the ECFA the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability. We're so grateful to G.M.E. and their staff for this blessing and advancement for our ministry. This union is a definite reflection of Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, for we are two laboring as for the kingdom.
